Nova Scotia is a beautiful province filled with charming costal villages with tradional buildings. I am inspired by the villages around Stonehurst and the town of Lunenburg and by the boats on the water and pulled up onshore. Even the wrecks have a beauty. We are based in Stonehurst during the summer and I spend a lot of time kayaking around the beautiful sheltered coves and islands of Stonehurst, Blue Rocks and Heckmans Island. Many of my paintings have been inspired by these relaxed outings with family and friends.
